Vacancy: Social Enterprise Manager - SAG
Location: Teach Iosagain, Rathmore, Co. Kerry
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Initial 2-Year Fixed Term Salary: Circa €41,000 dependent on qualifications and experience

About SAG: Social Action Group Rathmore CLG (SAG) is a community-based registered social enterprise CLG with charitable status dedicated to promoting social inclusion, community development and wellbeing in Rathmore and the surrounding areas. SAG delivers a range of community services, programmes and social enterprise initiatives designed to respond to local needs and support a vibrant, sustainable community.

The Role: SAG is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and commercially aware individual to join our senior management team and manage the day-to-day operations and development of Teach Íosagáin community centre. The community centre provides a range of services and facilities and support the development and sustainability of social enterprise activities across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee Teach Íosagáin's services and facilities, including the canteen, gym, events, children's activities and facility rentals.
• Manage and support staff, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
• Manage budgets, income targets, expenditure and financial performance.
• Identify and develop new social enterprise opportunities across SAG.
• Support SAG's Youth Action Group Committee in planning, delivering and monitoring youth activities.
• Build positive relationships with community groups, service users, partners and stakeholders.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Qualifications - Holding a recognised qualification at Level 7 or above on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).
• Strong management, leadership and organisational skills.
• Experience in financial management, budgeting or business operations.
• Experience in social enterprise, community development or the not-for-profit sector is desirable.
• Full valid Irish/EU driving license.
