The Social Action Group Rathmore CLG would like to acknowledge receipt of a grant of €2,000 from Kerry County Council and the Community Enhancement Fund 2019 for the purchase of a voice recorder and laptops. The Social Action Group Rathmore CLG are endeavouring to further develop the links between our older and younger people and bring them together on this project. Recording the life story of as many older people as possible using a voice recorder , capturing their stories and producing a booklet with old photographs.
The recording will be a wonderful success with older people reminiscing on times gone by and younger people enthralled and often fascinated at the various aspects of life from “another world”.
